The Baywood Online Auction starts this week, running from Thursday March 5 to Thursday March 12! We have hundreds of exciting items, many of them new this year, including:
- Wonderful donations from our teachers, such as lunch and bowling with your teacher—or maybe even a visit with her pet chinchilla!
- EXCLUSIVE! VIP seating for the night of the auction. Get the best seats in the house at one of our three themed tables (each table inspired by one of Sterling, Cooper, Draper, Pryce’s big clients: Cadbury, Bacardi, and Jaguar)—complete with themed drinks and table giveaways.
- NEW! Teacher, Principal, Assistant Principal, Secretary, and Coach for a Day. Your kid will assist her or his teacher, Mrs. Majka, office staff, or coach for a day, giving out lesson plans, run daily routines, and join the other teachers (both real, and for-a-day) for a pizza lunch in the teacher’s lounge!
- NEW! Message on the marquee. You get a line on the Baywood marquee to do with as you like—wish your child a happy birthday, congratulate the graduate, or simply wish everyone peace and good tidings.
Remember, you don’t have to be coming to the live auction to bid on these great items, and you don’t even need to be a Baywood parent. So help us spread the word: Grandma and Grandpa can check out these items, aunts and uncles, friends and neighbors. There are some wonderful items in the auction so please come check it out!
It’s not too late to RSVP for the Live Auction on March 21. But our RSVP deadline is Friday March 6, and it’s filling fast, so do it now while space is still available!
Register for the 2015 Baywood Science Fair! Information packets are available in English and Spanish. More information is available on the Science Fair Page.
The annual Wee Care collection of gifts and toys for the Samaritan House was an outstanding & successful effort on behalf of the entire Baywood community. Not even an epic rainstorm could put a damper on the giving and caring spirit of our school.
THANK YOU to all of the parents and children who brought in new toys for local families who struggle to afford toys for their family and depend on your generosity during the holidays. Baywood collected at least 300+ toys! The Samaritan House truck driver who picked up our donations remarked that this was the largest collection from our school he’s seen!
We have a special community of ‘Neighbor Helping Neighbor’, helping many families have a brighter holiday season. Thank you for your support.
