2015-2016 Kindergarten & Transitional Kindergarten Information

Kindergarten & Transitional Kindergarten information meetings will take place on Tuesday, January 13th 2015. There will be two different meeting times. One from 9:00-10:30am and another from 6:00-7:30pm. Parents should plan to attend ONE session per family as space is limited and the content is the same for both meetings. Spanish translation is available.

Wee Care Holiday Gift Drive – THANK YOU!

The annual Wee Care collection of gifts and toys for the Samaritan House was an outstanding & successful effort on behalf of the entire Baywood community. Not even an epic rainstorm could put a damper on the giving and caring spirit of our school.

THANK YOU to all of the parents and children who brought in new toys for local families who struggle to afford toys for their family and depend on your generosity during the holidays.  Baywood collected at least 300+ toys (the heavy rains made it challenging to get a count), overflowing the four collection bins. THANK YOU to the parent and student volunteers who arrived early to help set up, hand out special treats, and a special shout out to Vanessa Love and Beech Basler – our very own student DJ, bringing the morning cheer, hosting a mini jam session for the school. THANK YOU to EJ Jumpers who provided a generous printing donation for the flyers and signs. THANK YOU to the Baywood Administration, Staff, and PTA for their generous support in helping to coordinate the logistics for the day.

The Samaritan House truck driver who picked up our donations remarked that this was the largest collection from our school he’s seen!

We have a special community of ‘Neighbor Helping Neighbor’, helping many families have a brighter holiday season. Thank you for your support.

Happy Holidays!
