Thanks for a great auction!

Thanks to everyone who came to the Mad Men Baywood Auction last Saturday and helped us make it such a phenomenal success!  With all of your generous donations, we are pleased to say we were able to meet this year’s fundraising goal.

And especially thank you to all of our generous donors, sponsors, and the more than 100 parent volunteers who worked tirelessly to make it happen. You guys rocked it!!

It’s Not Too Late to Buy a Brick and Be Part of the 2015 Baywood Legacy

Play holds the key to leading a happy and healthy life whether we are 1 or 100 or anywhere in between. This year's Fund-a-Need will add more green to Baywood's outdoor play spaces, enabling active, creative play critical to children's learning and development.

Our primary goal is to add a stepped seating area and artificial turf to the hill between the upper and lower playgrounds (near Annex). Thanks to the auction’s incredibly strong Fund-a-Need performance, we’re well on our way to raising the necessary funds.  But we would still like to do even better so we can improve the play space as much as possible!

To help us meet this goal, we are announcing our Buy-a-Brick campaign, which runs until April 15.

With Buy-a-Brick, for every $250 donated you get to sponsor one brick that will be used in the new seating area.  Every sponsored brick will be engraved with your, your child’s or your family’s name – whatever you want! (Subject to character length limitations and PTA approval of course.) And every increment of $250 gives you another brick (if you like), so for a family of four $1,000 would let everyone have their own brick.

To buy a brick, simply visit https://baywoodelementary.ejoinme.org/MyPages/2015FundaNeed

We fully expect this project to leave an important mark on the school, and to be a lasting legacy from the 2014-2015 academic year. Please join us and be part of this legacy.

Aragon High School Food Drive

Aragon High School is currently holding a canned food drive that will run until March 25. Many people in the county depend on food donations and Aragon students want your help in gathering supplies! Proceeds will go to Second Harvest Food Bank. Please drop off non-perishable food donations at Aragon.
